Join the Pakistan Business Professional Council for an “open microphone” live webinar organized by The AmCham Abu Dhabi’s Legal Affairs Committee to discuss the legal system of the UAE – Confronting the new challenges to the development of the rule of law.

Legal systems the world over are challenged by the Covid-19 crisis and have adopted new ways of continuing operations.
The webinar will begin with a presentation by Nasser Al Osaiba of Global Advocates and Legal Counsel on how the UAE is handling the challenges that have arisen.

Next will be a presentation from a guest panelist, Avv. Andrea Nicolo Stanchi, who will describe the experience of the legal system of Italy. Avv. Stanchi is a leading figure in the legal profession in Italy and a regular university lecturer in law.

During the third part of the program, participants will be invited to an “open microphone” session in which they may describe their experiences with the legal system and present their observations on what is being done right and what could be improved.
