Abu Dhabi, UAE – The Pakistan Business Professional Council Abu Dhabi welcome the delegates of Karachi Shipyard and Engineering Works (KS&EW) on Tuesday, 19 February 2019 at the Royal Rose Hotel, Abu Dhabi.
Dr. S. Qaiser Anis, PBPC President together with other board members, Mr. Nayyer Hameed, Executive Vice President, Mr. Ammar A. Sheikh, VP Finance, Mr. KHalid Bashir, VP Lega, Dr. Muhammad Farhan, VP Membership & Head of Doctors Committee, Mr. Mohd. Iqbal Nasim, VP Programme, Engr. Mohd. Ajmal Sheikj, Head on Engineers Committee, Dr. A. Hadi Shahid, Founding Member and other members were present during the meeting.
KS&EW headed by the Managing Director, Rear Admiral Ather Saleem SI(M) expressed his gratitude for the opportunity discussing the possible business avenues of mutual interest with the Council and to apprise the forum about the capabilities and the potential of KS&EW.
Together with Rear Admiral Ather Saleem, Cdre (R) Saleem Iqbal, GM Shipbuilding, Cdre (R) Ahmed Raza, GM Ship Repair, Cdre Jahanzaib Ahsan, DGM Ship Design and Zain Ahmed, GM Corporate Affairs were also present.
KS&EW is growing and have great plans in the coming years for the shipbuilding, ship repair and engineering sector.
The KS&EW are here in Abu Dhabi partaking the Defence exhibition, DIMDEX/IDEX 2019, in ADNEC from 17-21 February 2019.
About the Karachi Shipyard & Engineering Works
It is a public sector company owned by the government of Pakistan, under the administrative control of Ministry of Defence Production. It is the solitary shipbuilding setup in Pakistan, having the capability to construct Commercial and Naval vessels, Repair of Shipyard and manufacturing of Heavy General Engineering products.
