Abu Dhabi, UAE – The Pakistan Business Professional Council Abu Dhabi organized the Jashen-e-Zahoor Ul Islam Jawaid & International Urdu Mushaira 2018 held in Abu Dhabi Chamber of Commerce & Industry on March 9, 2018.
Now in its 13th year, Mushaira 2018 was set to enthrall the audience with Urdu poetry and honor the works of the legendary poet, Mr. ZAhoor-ul Islam. Jashn-e-Zahoor Ul Islam Jawaid is known for bringing all the myriad flavors of contemporary Urdu verses with more than 250 of poetry lovers enjoyed the enchanting literary evening.
In this edition, poets from Pakistan, India and other countries presented Urdu poetry in all its scintillating rang-o-aahang styles and genres. Showcased the richness and diversity of contemporary Urdu verses.
The event was attended by H.E. Moazzam Ahmad Khan, Ambassador of Pakistan to UAE, Dr. S. Qaiser Anis, President of Pakistan Business Professional Council Abu Dhabi and Dr. A. Hadi Shahid, Founding Member of Pakistan Business Professional Council Abu Dhabi.
The dazzling poets’ list of the evening comprised – Dr. Pirzada Qasim Siddiqui, Mr. Ghulam Abbas, Auj E Kamal, Ashafaque Ahmad, Dr. Sabahat Wasti, Mohammad Nadeem Akhtar, Ahmed Mujtana, Kalimuddin Mekrani Qaiser, Syed Bashir Uddin Syed, Syedin Shuja Naqvi, Vijay Tiwari Hari Prasad and Ashraf Shad.
