Abu Dhabi, UAE – The Pakistan Business Professional Council (PBPC) Abu Dhabi on behalf of the Federal Board of Investment Pakistan arranged the seminar on Investment Opportunities in Pakistan held on October 7, 2021, at the Multi-Purpose Hall of Pakistan Pavilion at Expo 2020.Secretary Board of Investment (BOI) Pakistan Fareena Mazhar discussed Pakistan’s investment regime in detail and apprised potential foreign investors on bold economic reforms taken up by the country which have led to improved economic indices across several sectors of the economy.

She also talked about the recent EV Policy and key incentives offered to investors in the EV category.The Secretary appreciated the UAE government for organizing the Dubai Expo and assured the audience of the Government of Pakistan’s commitment to protect and encourage foreign investments.

The Chief Minister of Gilgit-Baltistan Mr. Khalid Kurshid also discussed the investment opportunities in Pakistan and engaged with the audience and discussed the challenges encountered and how they are addressing them.

Dr. Qaiser Anis, President of Pakistan Business Professional Council Abu Dhabi, expressed his appreciation to the Board of Investment for the presentation and for identifying the investment opportunities in Pakistan in this challenging era, and with the ongoing pandemic. This, to achieve the economic growth of Pakistan.

Pakistan‘s businessmen took a keen interest in the investment projects and suggested the authorities attract more businesses and investment.
