2nd Cricket Tournament

In Celebration of Pakistan National Day
Abu Dhabi, UAE. – Over 250 participants, PBPC Members and their family, friends and guests gathered at Sheikh Zayed Cricket Stadium, Abu Dhabi on Friday 25th of March 2016 for the PBPC 2nd Cricket Tournament. The event is in line with the Council’s celebration of Pakistan National Day.

It was inaugurated by the Chairman of the Council, Dr. S. Qaiser Anis. Participating teams vying for the championship trophy are Chartered Accountants Team, Doctors Team, Engineering Team and General Team.
H.E.Asif Durrani, Ambassador of Pakistan to UAE and Chairman of the Council and his wife, Mrs. Nabila Durrani, PBPC Ladies Chapter Chairperson is present the event.
PBPC 2nd Cricket Tournament Awarding Ceremony
This year, Chartered Accountants Team won the Championship Cup. General Team ends upas runner up. Mr.Faisal Mustafa from General Team named as the Man of the Tournament. Mr.Muqtader Shah and Mr. Jawwad Manai bagged the Best bowler and Best batsman,respectively, both from Chartered Accountants Team.
Children’s Activity and a Raffle Draw during the Cricket Tournament
It was a one day event which brings fun-filled of activities both for children and adult. Twelve (12) winners of gift vouchers were drawn and seven (7) lucky winner won gift items from Capital Health Screening Centre.
Thetournament started at 8:30 am, and rounded up at 5:00 o’clock in the afternoon,followed by an awarding ceremony.
President of the Council announced that thenext cricket tournament will be held on the month of August this year, incelebration of Pakistan’s Independence Day. He also mentioned the upcomingevents of the Council and encourages everyone to join and be part of of one ofthe leading business council in the region.
